| This Arts and Crafts Period (?) hearth pot, based on its form, is from the very late 19th century. This pot is primative in its form and hammering and has a swing handle with a loop. Overall the piece is in fine condition. Of course there's some age-appropriate wear and the interior is patinated. A very special addition to the hearth, it will be perfect to hold kindling, pine cones and such all winter. Naturally a piece this old is hand-wrought. I measures a bit less than a 7 inch diameter at the top with a slight "bellying" near the bottom. It is 4" high and weighs about a pound and a half | |
