This particular Hummel is 6" tall, excluding the Base. It is in excellent condition. No Cracks, chips, breaks or repairs, or any crazing. It has the West Germany "B" in blue. Further it has an incised word - "Lore" on the base AND it is incised under the base "1972" and the numbers "11 259 19" under the base. Further, the phrase "A 95" is in black ink. This is a fascinating vintage "turned wood" and painted nesting figure. The piece is complete with ten figures of varying sizes from ½ to 11 inches in height. I believe this is of Russian origin showing Russian Political Leaders. Although I have seen other nesting dolls before, they were often incomplete. Each of this set are figures with different faces, depicting Russian Political Leaders through time. Each figure is hand painted with different colors. Each doll represents a leader down through the ages, including Gorbachev, Brezhnev, Kosygin, Krushchev, Peter the Great, etc
